Nice Head Sculpt, Mediocre Paint Job, Poor Phicen Fit

Like other GAC Toy head sculpts I've purchased, this one is a mixed bag. Their pictures always look great, but the final products tend to have weird paint jobs, often looking dull with unappealing amounts of rouge, as opposed to the more uniform pleasant coloring in their photos. Consequently, they don't really match as well as they should with Phicen/TB League bodies as you think they will. They also have terrible inside pegs that don't fit well on the Phicen/TB League necks, which is a huge pain. I find I usually have to purchase new neck pegs from ebay and swap them out. It's a real shame, too, because the heads could be so much better. They just don't fulfill the promise of the picture. And all they need to do is paint them like the picture.
